One week later, at our second meeting of the year, we reached twenty satellite members — enough to begin preparing documents for Rotary International to register an independent club.
Elizaveta Tikhonova was officially welcomed as a new Rotarian. Other recent members will receive certificates and gifts at upcoming meetings.
Members discussed preparing and submitting charter documents for «Odessa Sea Energy», agreed on the club leadership team for 2021–2022, assigned officer responsibilities, and set the monthly membership contribution.
Prospects were also reviewed for attracting international business support for projects serving children and youth, and for securing backing from Rotary International for club initiatives.
