The regular meeting of the Satellite Rotary Club «Kyiv-Capital — Odessa Sea Energy» was both practical and productive. At the previous meeting, members had decided to establish a Rotary tree alley of paulownia trees — but first, seedlings needed to be grown.
Paulownia cleans soil of heavy metals and its wood is a valuable biofuel. On July 23, we launched a green «kindergarten»: planting paulownia seeds that, with careful tending, will become seedlings for the future alley.
This initiative serves both the environment and Rotary's public image. Environmental work is becoming a strong tradition among Rotarians in Ukraine. Let Ukraine grow greener!
